Floyd County Harvest
Festival and County Fair is a day to celebrate
Floyd County’s agriculture and
heritage. 
The Festival will
be held at the Floyd County Recreational Park
and the County Fair at the
Paul C. Webb
Youth
Center
(barn to the right
as you enter the Floyd County Recreation
Park).
- Join us at the Floyd County Recreational
Park for a full day of exhibits, music, heritage
art demonstrations, games, and much more.
- Other possible local activities that day may
include historical walking tours of Downtown
Floyd;
- free music at the Country Store;
- free arts demonstrations and a horse pull at
the Jacksonville Center;
- play performances at the June Bug Center;
- and Hope Springs Farm, along with other
local alpaca farmers, will host an Open Family
Farm Day, with educational opportunities, hands
on experiences and light refreshments.
PARKING
Only
people with handicap tags will be able to park at
the Recreation Park.
Parking areas with shuttle pick
up will be at Floyd Elementary School , Floyd
United Methodist Church (on North Main ), Floyd
County Courthouse, and Citizens.
There
will also be shuttle
stops at the Recreation Park, the Floyd Country
Store (music, clogging and historic tour), the
Jacksonville Center (horse pull, and free artisan
demonstrations), the June Bug Center (children´s
theater),
Attendees should refrain from parking
in other businesses´ lots.
Remember to bring your items for the Fair
Contest to the Paul C. Webb Youth Center at the
Recreation Park on Friday, September 19th from 4
p.m. to 7 p.m.
Entry forms are available
on this website and also at the Cooperative
Extension office (540 745-9307) and the Floyd
County Administration Building and will also be
available that evening at the Park.
Due to
space limitations
the only
parking available on site will be a limited number
of handicap parking
spaces visitors will be greeted just up
the road at CITIZENS .
A shuttle will
run from available parking
at
- Citizens
- Floyd
County
Courthouse
- Floyd
County Elementary School

Floyd Map)
and make some additional
stops.
Entrance
fee is $2/person ages 12
and up.
10AM until
4PM
Absolutely No
Pets
&
No Alcoholic
Beverages

will be charged for each event.
